My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Abby, my sweet-tempered, 3-year old lab mix with a beautiful black brindled coat.

I need to re-home her so she can be the center of attention. She is completely up to date on all vet care and loves to go on walks and watch squirrels.

My challenge is that her 12 and 17 year old siblings are in poor health and frail, and Abby wants to play so badly. She sent her 17 year old brother sailing off the deck steps recently, just trying to play with him.

Abby is 55 pounds and my older 17 and 12-year old doggies are half her size, so the dynamics of age and weight are just not working. I have some health issues too, and cannot handle all three.

Abby has a gentle personality and a calm environment is great. I do not know how she would be with children because she has not been around them. She loves dogs and is curious about cats. She is indoor/outdoor and needs a fenced yard.

She is initially skittish, and warms up quickly once she understands someone is friendly.
