If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nala is an 11 year old Husky Female. We got her from a breeder at the flea market in Mobile (they should not be allowed to sell dogs there or any animals). Nala recently has been to the vet for a cut she had on a right shoulder that kept healing and then busting open again, she has gone through all of her antibiotics and anti-inflammatory pills and the wound has been healing. Since the day we brought her home she has had issues with her eyes that we have to wipe them 1-2 times a day because they form a lot of "crust" on them. She has been one of the sweetest dogs we have ever had but we have found it unfair to her that she spends the last few years of her life in a kennel mostly here at home since our jobs have made it where we have to travel for weeks at a time. She is great with dogs and with cats and has been raised around them her entire life, she is FAR from aggressive, and is an extremely easy and laid back dog especially for a Husky.
