Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Atlas is an awesome 2-1/2 year old male Blue-Nosed/American Pit Bull Terrier who was brought to HSOV on April 16, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who offered him a temporary home after he was abandoned by his original owner ... And that Good Samaritan has graciously offered Atlas a foster home until he is adopted by someone just as special as Atlas truly is.
Atlas has a sleek shiny blue/dark gray short smooth coat with a large white bib on his chest, white markings on his front legs, white toes on his back paws, a long tail, and a beautiful face with amber-colored eyes, a cute blue nose, and short semi-erect ears.
This handsome boy has a super-sweet disposition and a lovable, outgoing personality. Atlas is good with children, other dogs, and cats. He has been kept indoors and is housetrained.
We took several photos of Atlas outdoors in the green grass and bright sunshine around noon on April 18th before taking him indoors for what we intended to be a quick jump on the floor scale to get Atlas' weight ... But Atlas had a different idea of why we came inside when he noticed that there were TWO soft couches which were perfect for a little snuggling-up time (smile). Atlas made himself at home and looked so adorable that we decided to take a second set of 'glamour shots' while he relaxed a bit before exploring around the lobby and discovering a few Good Boy Treats. Great idea you had Atlas!!
Thanks to HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Hayley Sturm for assisting Atlas with his photo sessions and giving him extra TLC and loving.
Atlas is up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies vaccine).
Atlas currently weighs 56 lbs and has already been neutered.
If you would like to meet Atlas in person and see if he might be your special new best friend, please complete an HSOV adoption application and submit for approval. We will make arrangements for you to meet Atlas. We always recommend a meet-and-greet with your family's dog and other family members as well to make sure everyone is compatible.
