My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is River. I am a super sweet and playful kitten! I love to be scratched and cuddled! I came all the way from Texas with my sister, Goose to find our #foreverhome(s)! When we were first rescued, we had decently timid demeanors…myself and my homies got off to a unfair start – we started to show signs of being malnourished and in need of shelter and resources, so it’s no surprise we were very scared and shy! However, in a few short weeks, my purrrsonality started to shine! I am the ultimate cuddler and little lover with a heart of gold! Despite starting off reserved, my foster Mom said I an adjusting well to the perks of being a house cat – I eagerly roll over for treats and LOVE attention! I am starting to appreciate the art of catnaps and leisurely lounging in the comfort of a cozy bed, rather than in hiding.

River and his sister did AWESOME together so would probably love a buddy (if not his sister) to hang out with. River is an adorable young man who has SOOOO much love to give with his new person or family…Could it be yours?

More about this rescue

Angel of Hope Animal Rescue works with cats and dogs from animal controls and shelters. Prior to adoption pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, cats are tested for feline leukemia, and dogs are tested for heart worm. At adoption we can help you determine if the pet is a good fit for your home and family. We will share their personalities and quirks with you to help you decide.
