What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
George (~2yrs) was adopted from the county shelter in March of 2024. He is 66 lbs. of happiness and high energy from the time he wakes up until evening!
He also is house trained, he knows some basics (sit, wait (before food), lay down), he has a love/hate relationship with the crate, and he is a BIG cuddle bug - a stage 5 clinger at times! He can't hold his licker and loves to give kisses. Tug is his favorite game. He likes toss as well, but he doesn't like to share the toy for another toss. He prefers the thrill of the chase. Also, he can be mouthy when he plays/gets excited and likes to jump when greeting people and playing. Sometimes he chews things he shouldn't and his listening skills could use some improvement as well.
Our family, however, are not so energetic and we don't have the schedule, training knowledge, patience, or finances to give George the happy, healthy, and active lifestyle that he deserves so we have made the difficult decision to rehome him.
