Ruthie, a spunky 12-year-old Terrier/Lab mix, is searching for her perfect home! At 50lbs, she's a playful cuddle bug who loves chomping on antlers, sticks, and plush toys. Ruthie has an independent spirit and is content to relax and do her own thing, but also loves human company. She's not demanding of attention, preferring instead to be your furry shadow. Think of her as a loyal companion, always happy to see you with a big bark and wiggly butt greeting. Ruthie is a bright pup who's house-trained and highly food-motivated. Ruthie thrives in a calm environment where she has access to a fenced in backyard.

Ruthie has lived with a loving family since she was adopted from a shelter when she was a year old. Ruthie's family has had to make this hard decision due to Ruthie's inability to get along with small pets. Ruthie deserves to continue to live in the company of those who can welcome her big heart and honor her need to be the one and only pet!
