My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Busta Rhymes and his "life partner", Sunshine.

Busta Rhymes lived a hard life on the streets as basically a blind cat trying to survive. After a major eye surgery and losing one eye, Busta now only has partial vision but gets around perfectly fine.

Sunshine ended up in a hoarding situation in Brooklyn that made national news. She lived in very tight quarters and in a small crate with 3 other cats. She's curious, funny and not at all a "hider". She's out and wants to be seen!

Through pure luck, the two bonded cats ended up in the same foster home to heal, and BOOM!! Just like that, they were attached at the hip. Always together, always in sync. Busta protects Sunshine, and together they make the cutest pair.

If you're looking for CHILL cats and want a rewarding experience, look no further. Busta loves to be pet once he warms up to his new human, and Sunshine will follow you endlessly until you feed her a churu (favorite food in the whole world).

A few other cute traits on this little couple:

* Because he only has the one eye, Busta always looks like he's winking, which is adorable.

* Busta's head is enormous, giant like a bowling ball. That just meant that there is more room to scratch his head!

* Busta might not be a lap cat per se, but he loves to come up on the couch and sleep next to his human. He curls up and puts his head against the arm of the couch and hunkers down. He purrs a lot when he is petted!

* Busta's favorite toy is the fishing pole! He runs and grabs the string while Sunshine watches, curious but not yet getting into the action herself.

* Busta and Sunshine do something that looks like kitty kissing!

* Sunshine likes to rub up against things - doorframes, the cat carrier, etc. She is now starting to rub up against human legs!

* Sunshine has the sweetest, cutest, tiniest little meow.

* Sunshine is extremely smart- she knows her name and will come running when called.

* Busta and Sunshine use their litter box perfectly.

* They love each other very much!

Busta Rhymes and Sunshine are looking for a calm home with an experienced adopter who has the time and patience to let the couple continue to blossom. It's such a rewarding experience to take in two bonded cats. They're very low maintenance and super easy to fall in love with!!
