Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hola friends, My name is Chavy, and I was living at a dog rescue in Jalisco Mexico patiently waiting to be adopted. But fate had a different plan for me… instead, 4 Little Paws Rescue brought me to America on a bus along with 30 other rescue dogs to help us find forever homes. So here I am. Currently in San Antonio Texas with my new foster parents, children, and the resident dogs, and I have settled in nicely, making friends with everyone immediately.
I am a 2-year-old, 17 lb Chihuahua mix with a little underbite and an Italian Greyhound physique. I can run like the wind, am light on my feet, graceful and agile, and I must have springs in my legs because I can jump high. My foster mom says I’m the spittin' image of Odie from Garfield comics, thin and yellow with goofy brown ears, sort of dopey yet innocent and as sweet and friendly as they come. I’m great with everyone, grown-ups, children, strangers, other dogs, and maybe a kitty cat. That’s just my style and now I’m known in 2 countries as being a sweetheart! Yep, I’m practically famous! I’m playful and social, love toys that squeak, and hotdogs. I’m affectionate and always willing to share a doggy kiss with you. I rarely bark, and never dig or chew on your property. I love going for walks and trips to the park and I do not mind riding in a car. My lifelong dream of being someone's forever dog is getting closer and closer every day. It didn't happen in Mexico but I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
