Doug is a (almost) 3-year-old male fawn bullmastiff. He is neutered and has always had a very quiet demeanor. He very rarely barks and is obedient. Doug is very friendly and gentle around children, but is a very large dog. He is 120 lbs. He is well behaved. A long walk will tire him out for the day however he cannot be in extremely hot or cold weather for very long. It’s definitely not healthy for his breed.
My grandmother got cancer and while on chemotherapy also broke her hip in 2023 and my father was her only caregiver. I was forced to move in with my mother which is too small to accommodate Doug. I am also a very busy college student and am having a hard time giving Doug the attention he deserves.
We’re looking for a loving family who can give him the attention and happy life he deserves. With the right home, Doug will thrive and bring joy to his new family for years to come.
