My name is Sky!

Sky is a beautiful 10-year-old calico. My wife has had her for most of her life, when she rescued her from her initial owner. Sky likes to keep to herself, look out windows, and find treats in stimulating toys. Sky has severe inflammatory bowel disease and is always hungry, though she can’t seem to put on weight. She has gotten consistent veterinary care and is up to date on all shots and check-ups.

We are looking to rehome Sky due to multiple factors. She is fine with dogs who don’t bark at her or chase her, but we have a dog whose primary interest in life is doing both of those things. It is highly stressful for Sky, despite our best efforts and extensive dog training and other changes we have made. Additionally, she needs continued vet care to get to the bottom of her complex IBD, which we can no longer afford. Her need to eat many times a day due to her IBD (wet food - she refuses kibble) has also become financially unsustainable.
