Jake is an 8-year-old German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix. He has been well-loved by his current owners for over 7.5 years. He is smart, loyal, alert, playful and snuggly. He loves to chase balls and loves all kinds of healthy "snacks" from cucumbers to strawberry bites.

Jake is not destructive, he does not jump over fences, he is house trained, he rides well in the car, and he knows basic commands. He has no health concerns, he is neutered, and he is up to date on his vaccinations.

Jake would be good for a home of adults, no kids and potentially someone interested in increased security/protection. He would do well in a home with a more spacious backyard. For new people and other pets, he will benefit from patience and an introduction period
