My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Miles. I am 2 years old and I weigh 60 lbs. I love the outdoors and I love spending time with my human. I particularly love a good game of fetch. Heck, nothing makes me happier than running after a ball. I’m also good with other well-mannered pups, but if I had to choose, I’d choose my human hands down.

Miles is a very happy, fun, energetic, two-year old hound x who loves to run around the backyard with his foster siblings as much as he likes to relax in his crate with a tasty Nylabone.

He's completely housetrained at his foster home, and he LOVES giving kisses and begs for ear scritches!  Other than some occasional jumping (which we are consistently working on with "Off!"), he's practically perfect!

Miles is being fostered in Maryland (along with his little buddy Milo - who is also up for adoption - separately or together with Miles!).

Please fill out an application so we can introduce you to your new best friend as soon as possible!

Additional adoption info

The process to adopt/foster dogs and cats is different. Please speak to the volunteer assisting you in the adoption process to confirm details about the process.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every weekend in the DC/Baltimore Metro Area and also schedule private meet and greets once a potential adopter/foster has applied for a specific dog or cat.
