My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teay is a 6 month old mix breed ( collie/ lab/ shepherd/ beagle/good dog!!!). She is of short stature, and weighs 35-40lbs ( lots of lovein in a round package!!!). She is a 6 month old puppy with a wise 60 year old soul. Teay gets along with old dogs, young dogs, energetic dogs and lazy dogs. She is good with cats, chickens. Loves to play ball, chew her bones and is a rock star cuddler!!! Is quiet in the house,not yippy. She is rockin the potty training, does great with the xpen, and is learning crate training. She shares her food,treats or toys. Teay is going to be a wonderful addition to your life, and a loving, loyal family member. She is up to date on her vax, rabies, heartworm preventive, and flea/ tick preventive.

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
