My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jupiter is ready to be your best friend! Drops of Jupiter (aka Jupiter) is the sweetest puppy who is excited to take on the world. His foster humans have already noticed how playful, eager, and sweet he is. Jupiter loves to play with toys and isn't very interested in treats yet (that will probably change) but loves mealtime and sits politely for it. Jupiter is house-trained (minus an accident or two - but it's only his first day!). He slept through the night in his crate without whining at all and went right out to go potty the next morning. He is soooo sweet on the leash and wants to meet every person and dog. No reactivity to meeting dogs or people on the leash. As he is a pup, he is teething and still learning manners about what is a chew toy and what's not - he just needs some consistent training as it's probably all very new to him!
Personality & Characteristics:
My foster dog is good with: Dogs (Kids and cats unknown)
My foster dog is: Seemingly crate-trained and house-trained. Some shedding but short coat.
3 Keywords for your pup: Playful, Cuddly, Curious
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 7 when outside of crate, 2 when inside and resting. He seems to have a clear distinction between rest and play.
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet - only barked a few times so far.
Walking Manners: Needs some formal training as he's only a puppy but wants to stay close and is generally good on the leash.
Appetite: Loves mealtime, hasn't discovered the joy of treats yet.
Does the following: Good about bath time
Favorite Things: Toys, playing, walking, meeting dogs
Commands/Tricks: Sit

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
