We need to find a long-term foster or permanent home for Lady. She is a senior citizen, we're sure. Our guess on age is from 11 to 13 years. She is a bit overweight and is no Energizer Bunny. Her movement is more of a "waddle" and may have some stiffness in hips/rear legs.

History: We do know her owner was removed from his apartment via ambulance and died in the hospital. Lady was removed by animal control and has been in the Minot ND impound so her world has been turned upside down. We have been unable to get any information on her owner's family or previous vetting so have started her vaccinations, etc. from scratch.

Current situation: She is now residing in a temp foster home in Fargo ND. She had been a bit grumpy with impound employees, but cooperative and docile since she left there. In one introduction, she walked right by a cat and only sniffed it; so she may be able to live with cats. Lady is getting along with her temp foster's dogs and seemed ok when meeting a big furry dog at the impound. We have no idea how she is with children so for now it is best if she does not go to a home with kids under 10yrs.
