Amara, our lovable Rottweiler, has quite the journey from her days of hardship at the shelter to becoming a cherished member of our family. Originally rescued from a tumultuous environment where she faced aggression from other dogs, she showed signs of potential hip issues, which thankfully improved once removed from that setting.
Amara's temperament is remarkably gentle and easygoing. She's like a giant puppy, always ready for playtime with her goofy antics and endearing personality. Despite her size, she's surprisingly passive, but she takes her role as protector of her home seriously, remaining alert and cautious.
Amara has adapted well to domestic life, showing little interest in destructive behaviors like digging and maintaining excellent house manners with no accidents. While she's mastered the basics like "sit" and "off", she could benefit from more training, though her intelligence suggests she'll pick up new commands quickly.
At just three years old, she's a great addition.
