Hey everyone! I'm Lakelyn, the cutest little pup you ever did see! With one stunning blue eye and a heart full of love, I'm just a tiny bundle of joy ready to find my forever home. You see, I may be small, but I've got big dreams— I belong in a cozy place with a family to call my own.

I dream of feeling the grass under my paws and playing with kids who'll give me all the love and attention I crave. That's why I'm wagging my tail extra hard at the thought of heading to "Homeward Bound"!

FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.

For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.

To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
