Pirru was rescued with her brother in a vacant lot. They were scared and hiding behind some bushes. The mother was nowhere to be seen. They had fleas and were thin.
She has been in a foster home with other dogs. She shares resources generally, but is protective about food. She sleeps in her dog house with a blanket. No cushion beds, they may explode at night
Loves to play with balls tug toys with other dogs.
She is shy at the beginning when meeting new people. Some patience and treats will help to break the ice and gain her confidence.
Her energy level is high.
Working on potty training.
Working on leash manners.
Stays in crate without problem, especially for travelling.

Submit Application

Please submit an application on the dog you are interested in meeting. We will then email you to schedule the meet and greet!

Meet the Pet

Our dogs may be in a foster home, the facility, or waiting for their arrival.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you meet the pup of your choice, you can take a week trial with them to see if it is a good fit.

We are always looking for foster to adopt or foster homes! Let us know if your interested in participating in these programs. Foster to adopt is fostering with the intention of adopting the dog if it’s a good fit.

Go meet their pets

We have adoption events each Saturday at Wet Noses Dry Paws in Tacoma (411 Fawcett Ave Tacoma) from 2-4. Not all dogs listed will be attending but it is a great time to come and socialize with them in a play setting.

More about this rescue

We have been fostering dogs since early 2019 through various rescues.

What better way to showcase them then in a playful, happy, loving environment with other loving dogs in our community.

Recently we have started changing things as we are looking for our pups to go into foster homes/foster to adopt.

We typically fly dogs in from over capacity shelters in Texas, drive puppers over from Yakima, and still have an amazing relationship with a partnering rescue in Mexico.
