My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is a pitbull mix that was found running along busy interstate (I-35) and then showed up in a friends apartment complex. My friend tried to rescue him but due to his breed, he could not stay in the apartment. I took Joey on, but I have 3 other dogs and 4 cats. He gets along great with the cats and actually mostly just leaves them alone. He gets along well with our lab puppy, who we got around the same time as rescuing Joey. He does NOT get along with the dachshunds, but it is due to the dachshunds being a grump rather than Joey. He doesn't ever seem aggressive unless he feels a need to guard his food. I just can't keep managing with 4 dogs, especially since he and the dachshunds don't get along. Joey has been to training and knows a lot of commands well, such as sit and heel. He isn't so great with down, but that is something I am still working on. I think Joey would be best with either just one other friend, maybe a lazy one, or by himself.
