Say hello to Bear & Buddy! These adorable guys are approximately a year old and ready for the next phase of their adventure. Bear is much more shy than his brother, Buddy, and is still quite fearful of being picked up. He calms pretty quickly and will melt if you give him some cheek and chin rubs! Buddy is more inquisitive and brave and is the first to investigate new toys and treats. We think these guys would do best in a home without small children under 12 as they prefer to have a calm and quiet environment. They would also love a home with a large habitat as these guys are pretty big! They are also enjoying some supervised floor-time with their foster family, so they would like a safe place to explore their world.
Please remember that guinea pigs are a life-long commitment! They are a huge responsibility-they require large habitats, daily veggies, unlimited amounts of hay, and occasional vet visits. They aren't ideal pets for small children given their high maintenance needs and fragile bodies. Please do your research before adopting any pet, but especially exotics like guinea pigs. We do not have an actual facility as all of our animals live in foster homes in our community. We schedule meet and greets with approved applicants usually at your home, pet stores or parks. We do not transport, deliver, or charge any fees to meet the animal. Adoption fees are only collected once the animal is adopted.
