My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max, an adorable member of a litter of seven puppies from rural Kentucky. At four months old, this pack is eager to find their forever homes!

Born on November 20, 2023, Max has been raised alongside young children and other dogs, ensuring he's well-socialized and ready to adapt to various environments. Though not tested, due to his young age, with the proper introduction, Max may also thrive in the company of cats.

Max is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, ensuring he's off to a healthy start. However, as his new family, you'll be responsible for completing the remaining vaccinations and ensuring he is neutered at the appropriate time.

If you're prepared to open your home to Max, take the first step by applying for adoption at www.peace4paws.org. Please note that we only accept applications submitted via laptop or computer.

If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
