My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gucci is 3 years old toy Pom and full grown at 6.8 lbs. He is playful and loves going on walks and playing fetch. He barks at strangers in the house or on walks, but settles down after some scolding or being picked up. He is a cuddle bug and loves to be held! Gucci is super sweet and a very happy pup. He is potty trained but was marking around the house at first, but now that he is neutered that should settle down. If his foster mama didn't already have 3 of her own, she'd adopt him herself. Gucci is microchipped, up to date on his shots, is heartworm free and has had his teeth cleaned. He is $750. https://www.houstonrecycledpoms.org/adoption-app

More about this rescue

Recycled Pomeranians - Helping poms in need since 1996!
Our mission is to locate, foster, vet, and place otherwise unwanted dogs in forever loving homes. We rescue purebred dogs previously used as breeders in puppy mills, dogs surrendered by their owners, lost and abandoned dogs on death row at local shelters and a few dogs found roaming the streets. We house, feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for and spay or neuter each dog rescued. But mostly, we give them love. Please join our cause! We can’t do it alone. We are a 501(c)(3) charity made up solely of volunteers who freely give their time to help our cause.

How We Help the Poms
Each dog that comes into our rescue is taken to one of our vets to be examined, brought up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given a dental cleaning as needed. Once each dog is fully vetted they are sent out to foster homes. Fosters will provide temporary homes until the dog is adopted.
