My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is a sweet and lovable 2 year old chocolate lab. We adopted Jasper at 7 months old from Tail Wagger's Pet Rescue event at our local Pet Smart. Jasper came with a litter of puppies from a high kill shelter in Texas.
Jasper is house trained, sits and shakes, and does great with our 2 kids and our other (Senior) dog. We have never had him around any cats, so we cannot speak to that.
Jasper can be a bit shy at first, but is definitely a lover and just wants to be with his people. He will be happy to lay in the same room as you, or on your lap, if you let him.
The ONLY reason we are looking to re-home Jasper is because he is a medically needy dog. In the year and half that we have had him, we have put a significant amount of money into his care. Jasper has both food allergies and seasonal/environmental allergies that currently require him to be on prescription dog food and allergy meds. We have a 12 year old dog as well that is going to need continued vet care in his golden years.
