I adopted Coda from a California rescue where I was a trainer. She was very reactive and untrained when I got her. After a year of dedicated training, she transformed into a wonderful companion with several canine friends, including an unexpected bond with a small purse dog. We were inseparable until I moved her to a farm in Lawrence County after getting married. However, the farm life hasn't suited her; her prey drive led to the deaths of our poultry and posed a danger to our cats. Now relegated to an outdoor kennel, she barks constantly. As a busy father and business owner, I can't give her the attention she needs anymore so its no longer best for her to be with me. She has to go.
No hip displasia. Love to play, train, hike, run, and just be by her owners side.
I know shes older (12-13 I think) but shes one of a kind, I'm hoping to find a loving retirement home where she can spend her remaining years comfortably, happy and getting the love and dedication she rightfully deserves.
