My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is the friendly and beautiful neighborhood stray- everyone knows him, his nickname is “The Mayor”, (even the other cats want to follow him around).
He is approximately 7 years old and very affectionate.
Though the neighbors helped him out with food and shelter, I wanted to help him to become adopted while avoiding a shelter situation. I took him in this past February, and he has transitioned well to being an indoor cat only - great with the litter box and is learning tricks- he sits on command for treats! He is a nice companion and buddy : will curl up on your lap and watch TV with you, with sleep quietly and peacefully with you at night. He likes to play with mouse toys to help with his hunting previous lifestyle, and enjoys birdwatching and lying in the sun near the windows, and watching cat TV. He is working on using a harness and backpack for possible outdoor recreation.
Adoption fee is to help with cost of an upcoming veterinary appt for an exam/rabies vaccination.
