My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lavender, and I'm a pretty, one year-old female terrier mix! I have beautiful brindle fur, and cute pointy ears! I was brought to the shelter after being found in a neighborhood, and no one knew whom I belonged too. And no one came to the shelter to claim me, so now I'm available for adoption. I'm the happiest girl and I just love whenever anyone gives me attention! I'm dog-friendly and get along well with my kennel mate. A fenced-in yard for playtime, lots of toys, and a comfy bed would be just perfect for me! Also, I have these pesky things called heartworms, but with your help, I can get rid of them. Please consider adopting me, because I'm a great girl who just needs a second chance. Before I go home with you, I will be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you can find it in your heart to get me the help that I need, and give me a loving, FOREVER home, I would really like to meet you. Just come see me at the shelter.....I'll be waiting for you!

More about this shelter

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
