Hazel's foster home is still learning about her, and she will be available for adoption on 5/11/2024. In the meantime, feel free to submit an adoption application.
Meet Hazel, a heart-meltingly adorable 3-month-old pup with twinkling eyes and a coat that's a canvas of black and white splashes. With her petite paws and that soft, scruffy fur, she looks like she's just bounded out of a storybook, ready to sprinkle a little bit of puppy magic into your life.
Just a baby in the grand scheme of things, Hazel's days are filled with discovery and play. She's the kind of friend who'll turn a regular afternoon into a treasure hunt, sniffing out the mysteries hidden in the nooks and crannies of your backyard. With her, every shoelace is a challenge, every shadow a playmate, and every lap a potential napping spot.
Raising Hazel will be a journey filled with joyful milestones and the occasional oops moment. She'll bring a smile to your face as she clumsily learns to catch a ball, her coordination still a work in progress. Imagine the fun of watching her ears perk up at the sound of her name, that tiny tail wagging like a metronome set to the rhythm of pure happiness.
But, with all the cuteness comes the duty of guiding her through puppyhood. You'll be her teacher, showing her the dos and don'ts of doggy decorum. Potty training will be on the agenda, along with lessons on chewing toys (not furniture!), and understanding that the cat's tail is not a pull toy. You'll have to puppy-proof your home, ensuring it's a safe haven for her to romp around.
Hazel will rely on you for regular vet visits to keep her vaccinations up to date and to ensure she stays as healthy as she is happy. You'll also be the guardian of her diet, making sure she gets the nutrition she needs to grow into those paws.
Most importantly, you'll be the one she looks to for love and comfort as she leaves her puppy days behind and grows into a loyal companion. In return, she'll gift you a lifetime of loyalty and memories.
If you're ready for the pitter-patter of little paws and a heart that grows with every wag, Hazel is waiting for her forever home-with you.
Hazel's adoption fee is $350. You can learn more about Hazel and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org
