Meet Misty. This 10yr old female Retriever/Shepherd mix finds herself in urgent need of a temporary place to call home. Sadly, Misty and her mom lost their current home. Mom is doing all she can to find a new place to live that will allow her to take Misty back, but it has proven to be quite the challenge. She is essentially going to be without a home herself in the near future.
THOSE EYES tell you all you need to know. Misty’s early life was not a happy one, leaving her with a bit of anxiety. She is really smart but very shy around new people, especially men. She would do best in an adult-only household. Misty can be aggressive/protective around other dogs, so she needs to be the only pet in the home. She can also be skittish with outside noises, but she is actually very loveable and obedient and she loves her toys.
Misty will not do well if she ends up in a shelter. If you have the home and the heart to give this sweet, shy girl the safe harbor she so desperately needs, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number listed below.
