My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I am Lacey!

I am a 7 month old, micro-border collie, tipping the scales at just 22 lbs! I have a border collie’s hard wired intuition and try hard to anticipate what you want.

I love to play with other dogs and am still learning how to be confident around people. I am a bit shy and scared still but adjusting well out of the kennel life!

I would love someone with patience and an active lifestyle.

**Due to her being skittish she will need another confident dog in the home. It has proven to help her come out of her shell

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
