My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.*

Welcome Hannah!  This 2 year old, 50 lb pitbull mix has raised her puppies (our EE litter) and is ready to find her very own forever home!

Hannah is housebroken and crate trained, does well on a leash and in the car.  She loves to be outside in the yard, go for walks and also just enjoys hanging out with her humans and watching tv on the couch.  Hannah has proven to do well with other dogs and kids, but has not been exposed to cats at this point.  She would love a yard to run around in.  This girl would do best in a single family home, so no apartments or condos please. Hannah’s foster mom says she is a smart, motivated and loving girl.

Hannah is heartworm positive and will require heartworm treatment (provided by the rescue) so potential adopters should be within a 50 mile radius of Elgin.   Any potential adopters will speak to a member of our medical team prior to any meet and greet to fully understand what Hannah’s treatment will entail.  Hannah is also not yet spayed, however she will be (rescue cost) once her heartworm treatment is completed.  Potential adopters should be willing to continue working on training with Hannah so she continues to be a great canine citizen.

Mothers day is just around the corner, and Hannah would love to have a home of her own in time to celebrate!

Hannah’s adoption fee is $350 (Includes microchip and age appropriate vaccines)

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
