Pirate is a pretty cool guy. He is a lemon colored beagle who is about 2 yrs of age. He was found for over a month wondering near a golf course and work site but no one there could catch him. Our rescue partner trapped him expecting a skittish dog since no one who tried could catch him. He was caught within one day for us and turned out to be super friendly. Not sure why these people could not catch him, but of course they wanted him for hunting, so it is just as well. Pirate is very affectionate and loves to lay with you. He also loves to play and will wrestle and have fun with the other dogs. He loves toys. He is house trained and uses a dog door. He does chew a bit but takes redirection well.
Adoption fee is $425 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..
We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.
Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62.

Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Beagle enthusiasts, come bay with us..... AROOOOOOOOOOOO!
