My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chevy - from the eyes of his foster...
- Loves to play tug
- Loves to snuggle or curl up on a dog bed
- Loves other dogs
- Chevy's tail never stops wagging! He is SUCH a happy, go lucky boy!
- Loves everyone he meets BUT sometimes forgets he's a big boy and can get over excited- we
have been working on this and he continues to improve with training!
- Working on leash/crate training - he does not have accidents in his crate and does well at
night sleeping in it!
- Potty trained/ will alert at door
- Chevy is a very strong and active boy who will need an active family who is willing to
continue his training!
- He currently lives on a farm and enjoys watching all of the farm animals every day. He does
NOT like cats and I think he would chase them any chance given.
- He is not a fence jumper
- Really good about waiting patiently to come inside.
- Loves the water and enjoys being groomed. He'd probably make a great dog for someone
who lives on a lake or owns a boat.

Whomever is lucky enough to bring this dog into their family will need to continue consistent training with Chevy so he can blossom into the best dog ever! He's got a great start so far!

Additional adoption info

We do not use a first-come, first-serve process when adopting out our animals. Instead, we focus on best fit for each individual animal. The process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet.

All of our adoptable animals have had a complete veterinarian checkup. Our cats and kittens are FeLV/FIV tested. Our dogs and puppies are heartworm tested. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, and have received age appropriate vaccines before going to their forever homes.

Feline adoption fees - $125 for kittens under 8 months, $100 if over 8 months, and $60 if over 9 years old.

Canine adoption fees - $350 for puppies under 1 year, $300 if over 1 year, and $200 if over 7 years old.

Go meet their pets

We are 100% foster based so all our animals are in homes. Once an application is approved, the foster will contact the potential adopter to set up a meet and greet.

We also have adoption events every third Saturday of the month, form 11am-2pm, at the PetSmart store on Telegraph in Monroe Michigan
