Chase is a 3yo red/white Beagle. His current weight is about 45lbs. He is a strong and muscular boy. He’s active and energetic, with a very friendly and affectionate personality towards people. His family surrendered him because they no longer had enough time to properly care for him. We were told that he’s good with kids, cats and house/crate trained. He’s been doing good with our other dogs here as well. He pulls on walks so his adopter will need to work with him to leash train him. Chase is now fully vetted and ready to be adopted. We set up an appointment to meet our available dogs that are ready to be adopted, with potential adopters after their application has been approved. If the dog is a good fit at the meeting appointment, the dog can go home the same day.
We also offer transportation options when the potential adopter is far away and can’t come to meet / pick up a dog from us. Feel free to reach out if interested in adopting but would need transportation.

We’re a Beagle rescue in San Diego, CA. Although we mainly rescue Beagles, we also receive other hounds in need such as Basset Hounds and Beagle/Basset Hound mixes. We’ve been Beagle owners for the last 8 years and we decided to start rescuing about 4 years ago simply because we love the breed, we love helping hounds finding loving forever homes. So far we’ve placed about 150+ hounds successfully in adoption.
