What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Domino Daisy here was adopted in August of 2023. She seemed like a great fit for our family of 6, almost 7, so we were excited to fill the gap for a canine friend.
We noticed she had some baggage (won’t play with toys, runs away during training sometimes, likes men more than women) and so we tried to unpack it with her.
As my husband is often at work, I’m left with her most of the time, and she doesn’t respond well to me so far, and from the trainers I’ve spoken with, she’d need a LOT of one on one quality time with me to overcome her hurdles, and I don’t have that to give her.
She’s very sweet, LOVES giving kisses and cuddling up. She still won’t play with toys, and will run and hide when she feels scared. She’s over 2 years old now, and may or may not be up to date on rabies. We’re unsure of when the last one was given.
She does have a tendency to jump on people, so young children do get knocked down and crashed into time to time.
