My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gwenith! She was a previous mother who is a shy lovebug. When meeting her she is very sweet and endearing. She craves to be pet and talked to. Her beautiful eyes say it all. She is new and we will update when we know more about her.
She is eligible for foster or adoption. Please meet her at AAC!

Additional adoption info

Prospective parents fill out a questionnaire, and then speak with an employee at our center. We try to match the families with an appropriate pet, and arrange a "meet and greet" with the family's other pets, if needed.
Our adoption fees vary, while we believe that all of out pets are awesome, we recognize that some breeds are more desirable than others, therefore, those fees may be higher, that gives us the resources to help our medical cases and promotes our harder to place pets. All pets come spayed/neutered, up to date vaccines and microchip.

More about this shelter

We save over 900 lives per year, uniting animals rescued from high kill shelters with families looking for their new best friend. We also operate a neighborhood food bank, providing food and supplies to local citizens who cannot provide for their pets, and would have to give them up without assistance. We operate entirely on donations and money raised in fundraisers, and we have been doing so for more than 30 years!
