My name is Winston!

Winston was a two year old stray when we adopted him in Warrensburg, MO. He unfortunately came with a lot of anxieties and baggage, but at the time he fit perfect in our home. He was a bright eyed and clever boy, motivated to learn and please, and grew into an amazing dog for a young couple. He's been a household sidekick and a judgement free listener for us for over ten years now. Despite his age, he is still very agile and loves to play. Unfortunately, Winston doesn't have the temperament to be patient around children, and keeping him separate and safe has become untenable as our kids grow. The decision to rehome our Winston, who still has so much life and love in him, has not come easy. We hope we can find Winston the home he deserves, where everyone can be safe and he can be free to be the expressive bundle of love he wants to be.
