This pretty brindle boy Duncan has been at his foster home 24 hours and man, being out in the yard is AWESOME!! He’s getting used to being inside and it’s ok too, but outside is way better! He loves lots of pets and back scratches. He’s ten months old and I’m guessing about 30 lbs (I will weigh him and confirm soon!) He didn’t really want to go in his crate last night but slept almost 9 hours without a peep. And unfortunately today he had to spend another 9 hours in there and did great and kept it clean. And tonight he’s willingly chilled in his crate for a few minutes! So far no accidents and just an all around good boy! He’s looking for his new family - apply today!

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?
