Candy is a gentle, sweet and loving family dog! She is a 4-year old Pibble mix who is ready to steal your heart with her intense gazes, wagging tail, and amber eyes.
She enjoys walks, chewing on bones, and napping in the afternoon sun in her dog bed.
She is an ideal low energy dog who enjoys relaxing days at home or adventures in the park. She does well on a leash and in the car. She is happiest by your side soaking up all the love and attention you can give her, but also independent enough to not follow you around everywhere once she gets settled in if you don't want her to.
Candy is housetrained and can be trusted to not chew up the furniture while you away. Your Crocs or Slides may not make it if left out though. She can work a dog door and a dog doorbell with ease.
Candy is food motivated and eager to please. She is really smart and knows No, Sit, and Stay. She is working on her recall and will try and scoot out the door to explore if you don't tell her to Stay. She won't go far or run, but will take some coaxing or a leash to come back in.
She would do best in a home that balances her calm and relaxed demeanor with enough activity to allow her playful side to come out. She does will with people of all ages and dogs of all sizes. She has not been around cats yet. She may have an intense look but her smile lights up the room when she is around her people.
