I have made the extremely hard decision to rehome my 2 year old heeler/ACD, Casper. I have had both financial & health struggles as of lately and will be moving soon to a smaller (studio size) place with little room for him to run.
Casper is a neutered male, fully up-to-date with his shots and on flea/tick prevention as well as heartworm prevention. I took him in when he was about 3 months old, abandoned by a friend’s neighbor. He has been to the dog park many times both as a puppy and as an adult dog, he gets along well with my other dog (an older, alpha female) and with my family’s and friends’ dogs. He also gets along with my old male cat, although he does have the urge to chase stray cats outside. He is good around kids but needs to work on his jumping with new people and pawing at you (scratching your skin) when he wants something or sometimes when being petted.
