What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
The reason we are looking to rehome Poseidon is because there have been a few instances over the past couple of years with our oldest son where Poseidon has nipped/scratched at him and gone after him a bit. Generally, there's no problem between him and any of our kids aside from the few instances, and we aren't sure what the issue was in those times . He bit my wife once in a misunderstanding thinking that he was protecting our other dog when my wife was trying to grab our other dog out of her crate. He is very protective of our home and our yard to other animals, but has had no problems with any people that have come over. Overall he is a good dog and we love having him, but with the incidents that we have had we don't feel as confident with him around the kids anymore. We're hoping to find a loving home for him with someone that has the time and skills to possibly remediate these issues.
