My name is Sparkles!

Hi, I'm Sparkles! I was born on 8/4/2023 (best estimate). I'm a kitten who's as playful as a circus clown. I'm independent and a little shy, but I do enjoy being pet. I'm sweet like cotton candy, but without the sticky mess. I prefer wet food over cotton candy though. I hope my new family will give me some every day! I get along well with dogs as long as they don’t chase me.  It takes me a while to warm up to other cats, but once I get to know them, I love to play with them. At first, I have to show them that they better not mess with me, so I act a little bratty and I’m a little dramatic with my vocal cords until I know they are not going to hurt me.  I'm looking for a family who appreciates my playful spirit, my curiosity, and my sweet, shy nature. I have never been around children, therefore I would appreciate a quiet home without them. I’m up to date on vaccines,  including rabies, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, spayed and microchipped.  I was diagnosed with stomatitis, which sometimes causes my gums to become red and swollen.  I’ve had a dental cleaning and may grow out of this by the time I’m an adult.  If not, the rescue has agreed to allow my new humans to take me to the rescue vet for a dental evaluation and any treatment prescribed by the rescue vet at that time, fully covered by the rescue.  Adopters will need to email info@kneadingkittysrescueaz.com within 12 months of my adoption date to schedule the visit.  Other things that help my condition are adding probiotics and lysine to my diet.  A small amount of Pure aloe Vera gel applied lightly to my gums is helpful during flare ups, and there are treats specifically made to help keep kitty teeth clean.  Adopt me and let's create some hilarious, heartwarming memories together!
