My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anakin is around 5 years old. We adopted him from Mesa County Animal Services about 1.5 years ago. He is a very loving dog but does not do well with kids. They are too high energy and he gets grouchy when they get to close or try to play with him. We don't know much about his background but the way he acts leads me to believe that he was abused by a man at some point in his life. He is missing 90% of his teeth which the vet has told us will not hinder his ability to eat. He tolerates me but if I try to hug my wife or tickle her when he's around he thinks I'm hurting her and tries to protect her. He's never been super aggressive but recently when having a bunch of kids at the house, I believe he just got was over stimulated and bit me causing me to need 7 stiches. In the time we've had him he's never acted this way. I believe the kids are just to much for him. Personally I think he would be a good fit for a single female or at least a household without small kids.
