Hello there! I'm Indiana Jones, a lively 4-month-old neutered male Redbone Coonhound, and I'm ready to embark on my next big adventure with a loving family like yours! They tell me I'm named after a famous adventurer, and I think that fits me perfectly because I'm always up for exploring and trying new things. I absolutely love playing with other dogs, so having a canine friend at my new home would be fantastic. I'm a pro when it comes to walking on a leash, and I really enjoy our strolls together. Sometimes, I even get into a game of fetch, although I'm just as happy exploring as I am chasing balls. My favorite treats are Milk Bones, and I'm very well-behaved when it's time to kennel up. This means I'd do well in an apartment or a house-just as long as I have a bit of space to stretch my legs and some loving humans to spend time with. One of my best traits is that I'm a big cuddle bug who loves giving and receiving hugs. I'm always wearing a big, happy smile, especially when I'm snuggled up close with my favorite people. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion, look no further-I'm right here waiting for you! Let's meet and start our adventure together!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
