Happy loves to be snuggled in her bed with a toy! She is estimated to be about 10 months old and weighs 36 pounds.
Happy is a friendly, playful, and energetic puppy who loves to make new friends!! She's a curious, outgoing pup who's always eager to learn and explore. She also likes to be close to you, hoping for a little love, oh, she just can’t wait for her family to find her. Happy does have some observed resource guarding, she is catching on quickly to her training and to “wait at bowl”. Her adopter will need to continue to work on her getting used to people around her food bowl. Happy is very responsive to training and wants to please you. She is still very young, so she'll need an active forever home that can provide her with the love, care, and attention that she needs to grow into a wonderful adult dog. An adult only home will be best for her.
If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Happy would love to meet them. She has a loose, friendly “all in” approach with other dogs.
If you are interested in Happy and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
