My name is Zahra!

Zahra is a 4 yo German Shepherd mix who is active and friendly. She has always lived with another dog, first with her mother and one of her littermates and then with her father. Zahra spends most of her time moving around the house and the backyard. We usually leave the door open and she comes and goes between inside and outside. She is curious and loves sitting at the front screen door to watch for passersby and visiting cats. She will spend time in the morning outside sunning and loves it when someone will throw a ball for her to chase. She also likes to be "chased" when she has her ball, having someone come after her, to take the ball from her. Zahra loves her walks and knows the schedule - she makes sure to let us know it's time for her walk. The upshot is that she needs to be around her people and will follow us and generally try to sit or lay near where people are. Zahra is a wonderful, companionable dog, she defintely knows how to make puppy dog eyes expression!
