Lolli is a sweet and petite girl on the search for her furever home! She arrived here pretty thin and shy, but has bloomed into quite the sweetheart! Our best guess is that she out of her younger adult/puppy years and is entering her middle-age era. Her future family will need to help her get settled into her new home as well as help her gain some weight! She really enjoys getting loved on and makes a cute little "woo" sound when she's happy! Lolli seems to be mildly confused by toys, but simultaneously interested at the same time, so we would encourage her future family to help her, uh, learn "how to dog," one might say. She was found as a stray hanging out with another dog, so we think she would be open to a home with furry friends already there as long as she can have a meet & greet with your pup first. As for cats, she doesn't seem super phased by the ones in the window here, so with supervision we also think she would be alright! Lolli really values her beauty sleep and is really excited to have humans to snuggle with in her new home. The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.
With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.
Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
