Hemingway is a 6 year-old, 86lb German Shephard.
Meet Hemingway! He got off to a rough start but even after being neglected he's still such a happy boy. He came to us severely underweight, and so we can expect him to get bigger now that he's being loved by his foster mom. Hemingway would do best with an experienced German Shephard owner, and definitely needs a fenced in yard or a lot of leashed walks so that he can burn off all his energy safely. He does great with other dogs, and walks "like a dream" on a leash. If you think you'd like to show Hemingway forever love, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org.
Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!
