My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparkles is an adorable 3 year old tiny terrier mix female pup who weighs about 7 pounds. She has a gorgeous wiry coat and big beautiful ears!

Sparkles is super friendly and sweet. She loves people of all ages, especially kids, gets along well with other dogs, cats and loves to be cuddled.

She potty trained, but her new family should be prepared to do additional training in these areas, as her routine in your home will be very different than what she is used to in a foster home.

She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.

Sparkles' adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.

Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
