Summit came to us as a stray, he can be timid with new experiences at first, but with reassurance we know in the right home he is going to make someone excellent pet! Summit keeps his kennel very clean and waits until he is taken out to go potty.

We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.

We are a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of Yakima County for over 100 years. We practice and promote the humane treatment of animals through animal control services, pet adoption, humane education, information, referral and quality animal care.
