My name is Verme!

I worked at a graveyard in NC a few years ago and found her as a a week old kitten with a bot fly larvae in her side. A friend of mine was studying forensic entomology and happened to have some fine tools and was able to extract it. She was quick to heal and I bottle fed her every 4 hours until she was old enough to eat solid food. She’s loving, expressive, playful, and really easy going.

I’ve had her since 2018 and I love her to death. I moved to the city last year for better school and work opportunities and now I’m in school and work all the time, not able to care for her as much as she wants or needs.

I’m heartbroken to even put her up on here because it feels like a betrayal, but I want her to have the best life she can have. If someone comes along that will love her unconditionally and give her much more than I can, then I feel she’ll be in a much better position.
